Global Legal Insights

Bruno Lossio

I’m an attorney with international practice and a partner at three law firms — two of them based in the United States: Premium Global Mobility Partner, a leading firm in immigration planning, and SLS Legal Advisory, headquartered in Washington, D.C., where I’ve lived for over eight years as a Green Card holder. I’m also a partner at LSF Advogados Associados in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In addition, I coordinate the Center for International Law Studies and Updates at Instituto Nêmesis, where I’ve been helping shape a new generation of lawyers ready to practice beyond borders.

As a mentor and speaker, I support professionals who think outside the box in expanding their practice areas and seizing opportunities in the U.S. My journey and vision are also featured in the book “Incendiários – Os códigos das mentes imparáveis” (“Incendiaries – The Codes of Unstoppable Minds”), where I show that with strategy, courage, and purpose, it’s possible to turn legal knowledge into geographic freedom and personal fulfillment.

“Starting my own firm was how I chose to live, every day, the American Dream that once was mine — and now belongs to every family I serve. With care, courage, dedication, and perseverance, I share my experience in a unique and personalized way — because a family’s dream should never be treated as just a number.”

Henrique Scliar

I hold a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Southern California (USC), one of the top 20 law schools in the United States, as well as a postgraduate degree in Tax Law. I have 15 years of experience in legal practice, with the last 10 years dedicated to International Law.

I’m the founder of Premium Global Mobility, a reference in immigration planning, and a partner at LSF Advogados Associados in Rio de Janeiro. My work is focused on developing immigration strategies and global expansion for entrepreneurs, investors, and skilled professionals seeking to build a life beyond Brazil.

I also serve as a mentor to attorneys aiming to internationalize their careers, and as a speaker on topics such as global mobility, international entrepreneurship, and legal innovation. I believe in the power of law as a tool for building bridges — and that’s what drives me: turning legal knowledge into real, international life projects.

“At SLS Legal, we believe legal excellence lies not only in results but in how we guide each step of the client’s journey. Beyond motions and procedures, we deliver strategy with empathy, precision with closeness, and commitment with purpose. Our job is to transform the rigor of law into a human, welcoming, and personalized experience — because building a life abroad takes more than knowledge: it takes care.”

Hugo Serri

Hugo Serri is a U.S.-licensed attorney (Alabama and Washington, D.C.) who began his legal career in Brazil in 1999, after graduating in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. With a solid international background, he holds two Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees — one in International Commercial Law from King’s College London (2012), and another in American Law Practice from the University of Denver (2019).

Since 2021, he has been practicing law in the United States with a focus on Immigration Law. He has extensive experience representing clients in removal proceedings, including asylum and cancellation of removal cases, before immigration courts and administrative bodies. Today, his practice focuses on serving sophisticated clients — investors, researchers, and highly skilled professionals — looking to develop activities in the United States. His clientele is international and diverse, with a strong presence of Brazilian, French, Italian, and Mexican nationals.

“At SLS Legal, we combine technical excellence, international experience, and genuinely human service — because we believe every immigration case carries dreams, stories, and purpose that must never be treated as just legal procedures.”

Nathalia Guedes

Nathalia Feitosa Guedes is a Partner at SLS Legal, where she focuses on business immigration, family-based immigration, and Military Parole in Place. She has been working in the immigration field since 2018 and has built a solid foundation through hands-on experience across multiple roles within immigration law, including serving as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal before becoming an attorney. This professional path has provided her with a comprehensive and practical understanding of the U.S. immigration system and the complexities individuals and families face throughout the process.

Nathalia earned her law degree in Brazil in 2017 and relocated to the United States in 2018 to continue developing her legal career. She later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Texas A&M University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. She is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and also maintains active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), Santa Catarina chapter.

In addition to her legal practice, Nathalia has served since 2022 as a reservist in the United States Navy, where she holds the position of Logistics Specialist. Her military service provides her with unique insight into immigration matters involving members of the armed forces and their families, further strengthening her ability to assist clients with cases that intersect immigration and military service.
